THE FOUNDER OF BHARATIYA VIDYA BHAVAN

In 1938, with a vision to preserve India’s cultural essence, Kulapati Dr. K.M. Munshi founded Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, a revered institution rooted in the timeless values of Indian heritage. Blessed by Late Shri. Mahatma Gandhi and supported by luminaries such as Late Shri. Jawaharlal Nehru, the Bhavan began as a humble initiative to promote Sanskrit and Indian culture. Over the decades, it has evolved into a global cultural movement, upholding the principles of Dharma, Truth, and Selfless Dedication.

Inspired by the belief in "Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam" — The World is One Family — the Bhavan serves as a bridge, connecting India's ancient wisdom to the modern world, nurturing ethical and spiritual values for generations to come.
